Walnut Butcher Board

This Walnut Butcher Block is made from a solid plank of walnut to ensure quality and integrity because the grain is matched through-out. As with all of our butcher boards, this board is made using end-grain construction, which allows for superior strength and durability. This type of construction is ideal for cutting and will save wear-and-tear on your knife blades. With end-grain construction, the cutting is done with the grain as opposed to against it. Because of this, the butcher block has a natural tendency to "heal" itself from some knife scarring. Quality Butcher Blocks such as this, are staples in the professional food service industry and would be an incredible look in ANY kitchen.
