Birch, Cherry, and Walnut Strip Cutting Board 

The incredible and silky texture on this custom wood cutting board comes from “flamed” birch (sometimes referred to as “figured”). The grain takes on a flowing, wave-like pattern that takes this cutting board to a whole new level. Constructed of flamed birch, and cherry, this custom cutting board also has a few contrasting strips of walnut and is one our more decorative boards. The immense beauty and movement of this board may make one hesitant to use it for cutting, but have no fear, it’s built for just that. This cutting board is as durable as it is beautiful, and we stand behind it.

Because of this boards “flamed” features, we spend an incredible amount of time on the finishing process. This custom cutting board is sanded, by hand and oiled until it’s smooth as glass. However, the finishing process is not yet complete. To ensure we capture the full potential of this board’s features, it undergoes a second sanding, after oiling, with a super-fine, 400 grit sandpaper. We think the beauty of this cutting board speaks for itself, and because of this, it demands nothing less than perfection. Dimensions are 11.5 x 18 x 1.25

This custom wood cutting board is available in two different sizes and is fully finished and oiled prior to shipment. Because no two pieces of wood are the same, the board that you receive may differ in color hue, and grain pattern.
